I used my new hand painted backdrop for a shoot today in my Kettering studio.

I got inspiration from Sue Bryce, a photographer I admire.

It's an 8ft x 8ft handmade wooden frame with hardboard both sides and papered.

Then I painted it black and added white and grey to build up the pattern I wanted.

I'll be half papering the other side with a dado rail for another option.

I used it today to shoot a lovely little girl (again) that knows me as silly uncle Iain and her younger brother.

The shoot went well and both were great throughout the shoot.

Hope you enjoy the images as much as I do.
